Cosmogony – Chris Wheat

Cosmogony by Chris Wheat is a short sweet romantic story where the heroine is not a damsel in distress but a strong women in her own right and can in fact save her man if need arises. The story brings a smile while reading.
When two lovers Isaac-a black man and Ruth- a white women are chased out of a conservative town of Goldwater, they reach and settle in a new upcoming town of Cosmogony. It is a beautiful kaleidoscope of people and emotions. The story could have gone so many ways. I really salute the author on the flow and giving a new angle to this story. The story has a touch humour and sweetness that touches a reader . There is racism, kindness and also incudes a robbery, bravery and most important love and acceptance.
One of the best books I have read this year.
Thanks @ booktasters for this lovely book
